- Strings and woodwinds represent the hunters pass

Bar 118-180 (Peasant Wedding)
- Played by: Strings, woodwinds
- Later joined by triangle stroke
- Light hearted, polka feel, dance like

Bar 181-238 (Moonlight dance)
- Moving notes in Flute, clarinets triplets, sustained note by muted violin in high register
- Start with double reeds’ long notes, create mysterious effect

Bar 239-270 (“River theme” returns)
- Strings (minor to major)

Bar 271-332 (St John’s Rapids)
- River theme by strings
- Full orchestra, brass timpani roll piccolo cymbal crashes
- Build by Brass and woodwinds agitated dialogue, then Climax!!

Bar 333-358 (The Vysehrad Theme)

- Ends with two full chords after strings fade out
